Played with Ubuntu some more. Tony had to work almost all the day. At night, we went to Davincis (the food was amazing), cuddled and watched “Planet Terror.”

Tony had to work most of the day. I did NOT want to do homework. I installed xubuntu on Tony’s computer and played with that most of the day.

Tony went home to Thanksgiving at his house in the morning. It made me sad that he left. Dinner at my parents’ house was tasty, but I didn’t stay long and I felt bad about that. I drove to Tony’s house as fast as I could, got there at 8 p.m. and he was very drunk and happy.

Tony being back was awesome. Later in the day we went shopping, cooked lunch (yum, gorgonzola burgers). Went to my parents’ house. Pet the dog. Laura and Sadie and Lish and Becky and Q came over after Tony and I watched Cat Ballou.

Got my applications out to the Poynter Institute. I will be floored if they accept me. I was really unhappy with my essay, serves me right for putting it off to the last minute. And then I blew my sister off and sped through the rain and dark to Auburn.

Stayed home most of the day and worked on my portfolio. I didn’t make nearly as much progress as I needed to. I missed Tony, and talked to the grad department in CMJ. They weren’t much help.

Got the Sun-Sentinel application in. That was a relief! We had a birthday party for Rose in French class, and KSlott gave me some of the plays we will be reading later in the semester as a gift. I was very grateful.

Driving back from Montreal. It was a great vacation form the computer and life and my project and the newspaper and everything. I had a good time talking in the car with Amber and Lise.

MONTREAL! We went to the Musee des Beaux Arts, walked around the old city, avons fait du shopping, and then we went to THE THEATER!!!! Oh yes. Later, we went to a Karaoke bar where the beer was disgustingly cheap and we sand Rick Astley,

Driving to Montreal. But it was a REALLY GOOD DRIVE! So beautiful. I had a good time with Lise and Amber.

ARGH! Error in the paper kept me in there most of the afternoon. It all worked out, though. I got to see Tony that night (barely, I really wanted to see him more) and I packed for Montreal.
