woke up too early for as many drinks as i had last night, the morning was painful with a 7 o’clock wake up call, long ride to the airport and then metro/bus ride back home. somehow i managed to bump my forehead in my afternoon nap. dinner was good. nice to have long conversations over food. decisions of the heart were made for good.

Yesterday just sucked. It wasn’t that bad to start out… I chaperoned a trip to the baseball game, and despite the kids being nuts, it was pretty fun. But then I came home and got an email that my human subjects proposal got denied (which basically means that my whole graduate project is trashed). So, I took my take home test for class and went to the bar to work on it/drink beer. That was pretty cool. The rest of the evening was also nice… grilled, drank more, conversed, had some HT. It was exactly what I needed, but it couldn’t completely save the day.
I also didn’t get to work out, and I stubbed my toe really badly on a stool and it hurts. Now both feet are gimpy, my hip and my back hurt, and I have this stupid twitch in my right arm that has been there for a couple of weeks and is driving me nuts.
