Spent the day in Vancouver, BC. Had a good time, had poutine for the first time. Also the first time I’ve been to Canada. Got into trouble with immigration on the way in and the way out. Missed Hope. Couldn’t help being annoyed at little things about our temporary separation. Trying to write today, maybe even paint.

Tony and I took Siren for a walk in the woodlot behind my parents’ house. Later we made steak with carmelized onions and drank expensive beer. MMmm. After dinner, we saw “3:10 to Yuma, “which was pretty much amazing, but not as amazing as “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.” I am more in love with Tony every day. <3
