A day off work. Went to Silverstone to watch the F1GP practice. Gym afterwards – but stupidly forgot shorts (subconsciously lazy?)
Food shopping, then chilled at home reading and listening to tunes.

Bought some cakes for the office. Then kip after work (nana-nap) before dinner with Yey at Lumiere. Nice (but rich) food – great wine!

Felt flat most of the morning. Watched IoM TT highlights and some of the Tennis. Work’s bbq was good. Played french cricket and went for a bit of a walk. Met up with Jo, David and Christa. Henning, then Eddie popped in later.

Out with Matt to find a nice pub for lunch (boat inn, although they didn’t do ‘proper’ food). Swapped some films. I made my top hat for tonight’s dinner party. Murder Mystery – bit of a laugh. Out afterwards, but wasn’t drinking as felt unwell.. (People loved the outfit though – even got bought a drink) Left early(ish). :-(

Morning rideout with CMC down to Avebury. Good group of people and the roads weren’t bad either. Then back to ‘Nam. Quick nip out sofa then out to park with Angie (I slept more there). Watched Candian GP then washed car to get all that tree-sap off.

My brain was severly frazzled after last night. Got up at the crack of lunch (although slept pretty poorly) Quick spot of cleaning/laundry before meeting (briefly) with Matt while I was washing my bike. Then out with Bob and his boys Luke & Mathew for 9 holes of golf. BBQ back at Bob’s. Great fun getting my shins kicked by Katie. Then out for Jo’s Birthday drinks at Beehive/24-7. Scarpered off about 1am so I could get enough rest for tomorrow’s rideout.
