Worked in the garden. Worked in the attic. Lounged around and then had Joe’s amazing pesto when he came home from work, and went to a show. Took funny pictures of each other on the way back.

Amtrak to Santa Barbara, quiet day on the town. Bar it up and narrowly miss a cocktail-hour appearance by Huey Lewis at our hotel. About as relaxed as I’ve been since last neversday.
