Good meetings at work, I felt like we figured some things out. Burritos for dinner. Wore a suit to the roda ala Mestre Leopoldina. Got a serious bencao in the jewels… in the running for worst Capoeira injury yet… kinda killed the night.

A lazy day. I worked on learning Ruby a little more. Felt bad about things in my past. Later, Adrianne and I went to the grocery store, picked up Alana, and made sushi. After that, we went to “girly night.” Took at cab to Tom’s party by midnight. Didn’t black out, but was very, very, very ill in the morning after.

Up early, coffee with Mom, Ben drives me to the funeral home. People seem glad that I came, and I’m glad too. Open casket. Great stories. At the reception afterwords I start to feel out of place, so I take off. I’m not feeling very social, but it seems silly not to go to Am’s party. So I go and it’s good to see people, and I fall asleep on the couch.
