The pain of loss finally hit me today in the shower. It was a terrible gut-ripping feeling that seemed to burn the tears out of my eyes like fire.

Attempted to patch things with Maria. Tasted her sweet kiss that I’d been longing to know for weeks now. About to go to bed and have sweet dreams of holding her close to me. I can still feel her heart beat and her breath quiver on my neck as I held her… I feel very happy.
Also, got a job interview for Wednesday. Hooray.
