After working the weekend on a non-business critical “emergency” project, while sick, it would have been suicide to go back to the office like this, I needed a day to better recover. Besides, the banana slugs I was still coughing up wouldn’t have gotten along with my coworkers. The slugs have appeared to move on so I’m gonna chance it at the office tomorrow. Besides, I’ve got too much on my plate and too many people relying on me to miss another day of work.

Work was ok, but tonight was awesome. Hooters and I participated as extras in marching scenes for the Milk movie (www.milkmarch.com) currently being filmed up in The City. Recreating such a pivotal moment in SF history felt really special. Being able to spot ourselves on the big screen will be pure icing. A candlelight march scene is slated for Friday night and we’re looking forward to being there for that too.

Had a blast at The Mint up in the City. Probably had a bit too much to drink, which I’ll feel tomorrow morning, no doubt. But it was worth it to share a fun evening with friends, old and new.
